MUMBAI: The experience of watching movies in theatre got even more nostalgic on 9th August when Hum Aakpe Hain Koun re-released for all the movie-enthusiasts. Hum Aapke Hain Koun has become one of the most popular and loved movies.

Hum Aapke Hain Koun, directed by Sooraj Barjatya and featuring a great cast that includes Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Alok Nath, Renuka Shahane, Mohnish Bahl, Reema Lagoo, Bindu, Dilip Joshi, Satish Shah, Anupam Kher, Laxmikant Berde, Himani Shivpuri, Dinesh Hingoo, and many more.

Originally, the movie was released on 5th August 1994, and became a blockbuster family-entertainer. While family-entertainers are rare these days, Sooraj Barjatya left a strong mark as the director who mostly made such movies.

With the re-release of HAHK, a lot of 90s kids were fascinated but at the same time, there were also some young generation people in the audience who had their own crazy ideas about the movie. We came across some netizens who were discussing how it would go if the movie was to be directed by Anurag Kashyap and the imagination was hilarious and also pretty interesting at times.

Naeem Tehsildar: There’s no way it’s an Anurag Kashyap movie without some cussing and killings. Just imagine the scene when Reema Lagoo dies after falling from the stairs...what if instead of the stairs she gets killed by gunshot?

Gaurav Pandey: You know what? Let’s put Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Richa Chadha instead of Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit. That would do the trick. Also, all the celebration songs should have gun firings in the air and instead sweets there’ll be alcohol served.

Nisha Kelkar: One thing I would like to add would be that no one will say “Beti ka ghar paraya hota hai” and Ladkiwale won’t come to the guy’s house.

Rishabh Daruwala: Let’s raise the filminess here and keep a distance between Salman Khan and Mohnish Bahl’s character. As in, instead of having brotherhood, it’ll be the opposite and they’ll always have bitterness towards each other, always at fight and always aggressive. Man I would love that!
