MUMBAI: "Kaun Banega Crorepati" Season 16, the popular game show on television, has a history of uniting families through its captivating gameplay and potentially life-changing rewards. With intentions of accomplishing personal goals, overcoming financial challenges, or honoring their parents' wishes, contestants from a variety of backgrounds have claimed the renowned hot seat. Their aspirations motivate them to win large.
One of these participants is Jayanta Duley from Agai, West Bengal. He is committed to improving his family's living conditions and is working hard to alleviate sanitation-related concerns in his village by building a bathroom for his mother and sister.
Along with his sister Shikha Duley, Jayanta, a 25-year-old student and part-time tuition teacher from Agai, has traveled to Kaun Banega Crorepati. Jayanta could not contain his emotions and was clearly overwhelmed as he won the Fastest Finger First. He hugged his sister right away to celebrate the victory, which added to the specialness of the situation. When he talked about wanting to build a bathroom for his mother and sister, it was clear that he had a strong emotional bond with them. Due to financial hardships, a large number of people in his hamlet continue to take regular baths in a nearby river that is used for a variety of purposes. Jayanta aims to change this by bringing attention to how important cleanliness is.
He intends to set an example and guarantee that every residence in his town has a bathroom, beginning with his own, using the prize money. Jayanta also wants to become a teacher in order to raise awareness of this problem and go from being a "nobody" to a "somebody."

Big B was touched by Jayanta's initiative and was shocked by the struggles of his daily life saying, “It's painful to hear that, in this day and age, your mother and sister still have to bathe in the open.”
Jayanta said, “It pains me when I see my mother and sister who have no option, but to bathe in a nearby small pond which is also used for washing utensils, closes and even bathing the cattle. In my village, having a bathroom is seen as a luxury, not a necessity. I want to change this mindset and highlight the importance of hygiene. Building a bathroom for the women in my own house for their personal hygiene is just the beginning. Kaun Banega Crorepati is more than a game for me, it’s a beacon of hope that will not only help me financially but will also provide the credibility needed to inspire my village to recognize the value of proper hygiene. I am profoundly grateful for this opportunity, as it means a lot to me.”
