MUMBAI: Everyone loved the pair of Kapil Sharma and Sumona Chakravarti when they played husband and wife on The Kapil Sharma Show. Kapil started a new Netflix show after that one, but he didn't include Sumona. The actress was left devastated and expressed her disappointment over Kapil Sharma’s behaviour. Now, they are back together, although this time not for The Great Indian Kapil Show but for an advertisement.

An advertisement for a hair oil product was recently done by Kapil Sharma and Sumona Chakravarti. The renowned actress from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 posted an advertisement on Instagram, revealing that it was shot a few months ago.
Sumona Chakravarti captioned the post as, “Kuch mahine pehle ye mazedaar ad shoot kiya tha with Sharma ji….” Interestingly, the duo is playing husband and wife in the commercial as well.
It should be mentioned that following their alleged rift, this is Kapil Sharma and Sumona Chakravarti's first collaboration. Reports surfaced during Khatron Ke Khiladi 14's promotion suggesting that Sumona had been told about the upcoming program and did not leave The Kapil Sharma program by choice. She went so far as to say that Kapil had disappointed and "upset" her.
During an interview with the popular news portal, Sumona Chakravarti cleared the air and said, “It is so weird because literally a few days ago, there was a very nice article. I had spoken to a journalist and had said exactly the opposite thing. Then, of course, two days later another publication decided to write an article that said completely the opposite. I hadnothing to say because I was also in Romania.”
“I have said this time and again, I was part of a show that ended in July last year and it’s not like you exited or I resigned or I got fired, the show ended in July, and after that, we all went ahead. We took up our individual projects after that. I’m doing Khatron Ke Khiladi. He (Kapil Sharma) did another show. It’s just that there is no bad blood at all. Why would I be upset (with Kapil)? He and I worked before and I went to Romania,” Sumona added.
The second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show, hosted by Kapil Sharma, will be released on September 21, 2024. Sunil Grover, Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, and Archana Puran Singh will also be there.
