MUMBAI: Splitsvilla X5 captivated viewers with its captivating blend of humour, suspense, and drama. The season was hosted by Tanuj Virwani and Sunny Leone, debuted on March 30, 2024, and quickly became well-known.
Even though the show's August 11, 2024, finale aired, several of its controversies still seem to exist. Kashish Kapoor, one of the candidates, has been the target of criticism since she decided to leave the show in favor of money. She suffered a great deal before deciding to act and posting an update on her Instagram about how she handled it.

Ever since the broadcast of Splitsvilla X5 concluded, Kashish Kapoor has been in the news. Netizens were stunned by her decision to accept Rs. 10 lakh instead of competing for the championship. She has consequently drawn a lot of hate comments and regular criticism online. She also started receiving death threats, which made her take a step.
On August 21, 2024, Kashish Kapoor took to her IG handle and informed her fans that she had taken legal action against the cyberbullying directed towards her. The influencer shared a copy of her formal complaint against bullies and trolls. As per the picture, she has filed a complaint at Amboli Police Station, Mumbai.
Sharing the photo, Kashish wrote, "With the help of a lawyer, the complaint has been submitted physically as well. Enough is enough. I thank each and every one of you, jinhone meri help ki hain."
Reality show participants frequently have to make tough choices, which can make the experience uncomfortable. A similar incident with Uorfi Javed and Munawar Faruqui entering the show before the finale happened on Splitsvilla X5.
They presented a novel idea and presented the finalists with a compelling offer. According to their office, finalists had the option to withdraw from the game and receive Rs. 10 lakh of the Rs. 15 lakh total prize money.
Kashish's partner Digvijay Rathee was surprised when she accepted the offer. However, she eventually expressed her regret for the decision she made in public. However, her supporters were not convinced by her claim. Viewers strongly reacted negatively to her decision. Kashish revealed that she came from a middle-class family and that having money was necessary for her to defend her decision.
Deekila Sherpa and Rushali Yadav, two of Kashish's other competitors, posted a message on social media supporting her. They requested that individuals let off of her and expressed their concerns about the threats made against her.
