In response, the Stree 2 actor stated that the issue lies with the person if they are attempting to be Devdas while being influenced by the movie. He said that a filmmaker is telling the narrative of a guy who is similar to him but not asking everyone to be like him. Raj mentioned that Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's novel served as the inspiration for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's cinema.

He further continued by mentioning that several popular and successful films (inspired by the novel) have been made in Bengal also. "It’s a character story. He is not asking you to be like him. He dies in the end. He is telling you if you do this, you gonna die sooner. He is not telling you ke iske saath ye sab kuch ho raha hai fir bhi ye to jee raha hai paisa hi paisa hai uske paas (He is not telling you that he is going through all this, yet he has a lot of money)".

Raj draws attention to the fact that Devdas lacks a family and a home, which worsens his condition as he is on the roads. He claims that the movie told the story of a love story and its consequences.

He continued by discussing Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directing and revealed, "I loved Animal, the experience of watching Animal. I enjoyed it." The actor admitted that he had problems with a few of the movie's some scenes, but overall, he had fun watching it.

"I loved Ranbir Kapoor in it and his performance in the film was mind-blowing," he said, praising the actor strongly. Raj revealed that a prominent reviewer, responding to the negative conversation, stated that the director should have called it Animal. The character in the movie acts like a "Idol man" or a "Aadarsh purush," even if that isn't how the movie is named. In response to the criticism, he continued, the director already made it clear that people will be "coming to watch an animal" in theatres.
