MUMBAI: Star Plus has once again ventured into unexplored territory. The channel brings for its audience a show highlighting the concept of Pakadwa Vivah titled Do Dooni Pyaar. Starring Shivika Pathak as Ganga and Gourav Sharma as Abhay, and Goutam Sharma will be seen essaying the character of his identical twin brother Akash in the show. Do Dooni Pyaar showcases the journey of Ganga and sheds light on the topic of Pakadwa Vivah.
Do Dooni Pyaar showcases the story of Ganga, a girl neglected by her family since childhood, while Abhay belongs to a wealthy and well educated family, and these two different thought-minded people come to get by the twist of fate is definitely something to watch out for. Set in Sonepur, Bihar, the show highlights the phenomenon of Pakadwa Vivah, or forced marriage, and recently the makers also treated the audience with the show's first intriguing promo that depicts the journey of Ganga that is not a bed of roses, yet Ganga surpasses those thorns with positivity. With the show having a backdrop of Sonepur, there have been reports that the makers of the show Do Dooni Pyaar are considering shooting some special sequences there in order to give it a realistic touch and create authenticity. If these rumors are true, it will surely be an interesting one to watch as to how these aspects of reel and real will be captured.
