MUMBAI: Having made singing sensations of its talent through opportunities to release their original singles on Zee Music Co. week-on-week last year, Zee TV’s iconic singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ is back with a fresh season, an all-new panel of mentors and some of the finest new voices of India – Nayi Awaaz, Naye Andaaz Mein.
This time around, the contestants will be groomed extensively by their mentors, each of whom will be deeply invested in the musical journeys of their protégés, adding value to their learning curve as they jointly vie for the coveted trophy. With today’s music composers, whose hit melodies resonate with every emotion of India, going head-to-head in a competitive environment, sparks of musical brilliance are sure to ignite!
The season makes the reality television debut of popular composers – the hit machine duo Sachin-Jigar, famous for their foot-tapping numbers like ‘Thumkeshwari’, ‘Kamariya’, 'Apna Bana Le', ‘Beat Pe Booty’ and ‘Nadiyon Paar’. The duo is seeking not only technical finesse but a streak of originality amongst singers, they are keen to strike a personal connection with each of them to be able to hone their skills better!
