MUMBAI: It’s surreal when dreams come true, and the same has happened for actress Raviraa Bhardwaj, who plays the role of Urmila in the show Aukaat Se Zyaada streaming on YouTube channel Freshh Mint. The actress says that she loves her role, appreciates the layers it showcases, and has always wanted to do something like this.
“The feedback has been unexpected. People are loving the show. I am glad that they are noticing my small gestures and nuances. They are noticing even the smallest details that I have added to the character. It feels like I have justified the character,” she says.
She adds, “I am getting so many messages about the release of the next episode. I have received texts from viewers staying outside of India too."
When asked how it feels to be part of a series that explores themes of ambition and societal expectations, she says, “I am thankful to my producers for showing their faith in me. I believe this script was meant for me. I have manifested roles like this that can take my craft to another level. My character Urmila has plenty of things to play with and learn from.”
