MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Vanraj Shah has vanished from Shah House. A small group of thugs break into Shah House and say that the Vanraj have fled with their millions of rupees.
Devastated, Toshu and Pakhi will have to repay loans totaling crores while Vanraj is away. Soon, Paritosh would seize control of the situation and make plans to unseat Vanraj Shah.
In front of Baa and Babuji, he would be seen carrying out Vanraj's final rituals in order to ascend to the family's headship. When Anupama notices Toshu acting strangely, she will scold him for making such a poor decision.
Toshu and Anupamaa will once again get into a heated argument and the latter will remind him of the innumerable sacrifices Vanraj has made for him.
