MUMBAI: Pallavi Rao rose to fame on television.
Her role as Mami in Pandya Store is well recognized, and she most recently made an appearance in Colors' Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. She has appeared in numerous TV productions, including Punar Vivaah: Zindagi Milegi Dobara, Nima Denzongpa, Pandya Store, and Qayaamat Se Qayaamat Tak. Pallavi had to take a break in her career as she expanded her family and had to take care of her kids who were very young back then. As she resumed her career, the actress mentioned how she had to struggle in getting roles.
Among the many shows, she was also considered for Ishqbaaaz, one of the most popular shows on Star Plus which featured Surbhi Chandna and Nakuul Mehta in the leading roles. The serial also had a spin off titled Dil Boley Oberoi.
Pallavi was considered to be a part of Ishqbaaaz in the role of Nakuul Mehta’s mother, however, they needed the character to look a little mature and actress Nikita Anand eventually played the part.
