MUMBAI: The entertainment sector is the best, according to Delnaaz Irani, who has worked on television dramas like Kabhie Kabhie Ittefaq Se, Yes Boss, and Shararat and has acted in movies like Bhoothnath and Kal Ho Naa Ho.

Delnaaz revealed, “I am so proud of being in my acting profession. I have come across such good people in the industry that I always feel positive.Acting started as my hobby, and I didn’t even realise when it converted into a career, so I always don’t feel that I am working. I love my job. I think every industry has something good and bad. This industry has given me name, fame, and everything. This is the best place.”
Speaking of her appearance, Delnaaz said, “I have always felt that the way I am, I am fine like this. Talking about my weight, it’s always been an issue, but I have taken it positively. I go for long walks and enjoy a Zumba session. I have a very healthy life. My eating habits are right, and even during shoots, I take my lunch with me. I try to balance it out. I think my weight has never been an issue for me as far as my work is concerned, in fact it has gotten more work. As long as I am healthy, I am fine with it.”
Delnaaz said her thyroid has made it difficult for her to lose weight.
She added, “Patience and perseverance are a must. There is a lot of waiting involved here. There are times when people wait for years to get the right work. You need to be strong and have patience. If you hang on, you can have a good career in this field.”
