MUMBAI: Colors show ‘Megha Barsenge’ sheds light on a newlywed bride, abandoned by her NRI dulha Manoj who is challenged with weathering the deceit and restoring her family's reputation. Amidst her struggle, she finds an unexpected ally in Arjun, an IAS officer who aids her quest to confront the elusive groom. Megha has been seen recently telling Arjun that she is suffering a lot and is unsure of how to stop it. She admits to him that it hurts.
But Megha assures him that she will hold Manoj accountable for all he has done to her, and Arjun is moved by her bravery.
When Arjun assures Megha that she would be able to leave the jail and that Manoj will not suffer any more, the story takes an intriguing turn.
Arjun is told by Megha that he is here because of her, and she begs him to leave and travel to India as she is the reason he is in trouble. He refuses. He promises to save her, he says.
In the upcoming episodes, we'll see that Megha makes the decision to break out of jail in order to exact revenge on Manoj, and that Arjun assists her in doing so, making Arjun appear criminal to the police.
