The Trial debuted on Disney+ Hotstar. The series tells the tale of a woman who, following her husband, a well-known politician, being jailed for a scandal, decides to resume her legal profession. She encounters obstacles that put her perseverance and morals to the test as she manages her personal and professional lives.
The show is praised for its compelling courtroom drama, which combines political and personal intrigue, and its excellent acting.
While Hindi movie actress Kajol plays the titular role, we now learn that actress Isha Sandhir has been roped in for the second season of the project.
