MUMBAI: Colors presents Durga, a tale of a tribal girl who defies social expectations to follow her love for the royal heir Anurag and become a doctor, despite opposition from strong tribal woman Paani Bai.
Starring Pranali Rathod as Durga, Indira Krishnan as Paani Bai, and Aashay Mishra as Anurag, and produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures, the show is set in Jodhpur, the story follows Durga, a tribal girl aspiring to become a doctor.

Rajesh tells Durga that she will not be able to get out of this situation, vows to see to it that they are married, and asks her to give up.
But, Chandni comes to Vikram's house on time and tells him that Durga has come to treat him, but she has declined to sleep in her room and decided to sleep with Rajesh.
The story takes an interesting turn when Anubhav gets angry after hearing her and tells her that Durga is incapable of doing something like that. Chandni tells him that she is not lying.
Anubhav is shocked by Durga's acceptance of her affair with Rajesh and tells them that all he has stated about her is true. He questions her about what Durga is saying and advises her to reconsider.
The upcoming episodes will show that, despite Durga's continuous confession that she had slept with Rajesh, Anubhav still decides not to believe her and decides to call off the marriage. He gets angry with Durga for her words.
