You replaced Milky Srivastava in the show this year. What were your thoughts before taking up this role as you were going to step in someone else's shoes?

Working with Hats Off Productions has been on the wish list for a very long time. So when the opportunity came to me for Khushi Tara Chand, I just couldn't pass it out. Of course playing someone's role comes with other challenges. But I saw it as a chance to bring my own unique essence to the character. While I deeply respect the work Milky had done. I was excited to shape Khushi in a way that resonated with me and hopefully with the audience too. It was both a creative and a personal challenge for me as well as the team which I was ready to embrace.

How is Khushi's character similar to you in real life?

Khushi is vibrant, confident, stylish and connected to social media which does not reflect just a bit of me, she is a lot like me. I enjoy expressing myself and just like Khushi I value friendships a lot and those little moments in life. The best part of Khushi is that she does not care what people think of her. Singing, dancing, making vlogs, reels and clicking tons of pictures literally in every scene. I remember once Sumeet sir called a selfie queen because I do the same thing off-camera as well. Khushi is so bold and unapologetically herself and freely expresses herself and what's on her mind and that's something I really admire about her.

How is the experience with the star cast, especially with the senior actors like Sumeet Raghavan, Pariva Pranati, Bharti Achrekar and Anjan Srivastava?

Working with such talented and seasoned actors has been an absolute honor. All the actors have such vast experience and I have learned so much from them just by watching them perform. They have been so humble and welcoming, making it easy for me to find rhythm on set.

The show stars Sumeet Raghavan, Pariva Pranati, Anjan Srivastava, Chinmayee Salvi, Bharti Achrekar, Sheehan Kapahi, Anju Jadhav and many more in pivotal roles.
