MUMBAI : Sneha Wagh, who was last seen in Neerja – Ek Nayi Pehchaan, is all set to enter Sun Neo's show Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya as Chhathi Maiyya
Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Mere Sai, Chandragupta Maurya, Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram, and Jai Hanuman – Sankatmochan Naam Tiharo, are some of the costume dramas in which Sneha Wagh was seen in the past.
While sharing about her love for costume dramas and entering Chhathi Maiyya, Sneha Wagh said, "I love costume dramas and all the larger than life portrayals of characters. But playing Chhathi Maiyya is like my dream come true, because I always wanted to play a goddess. It's going to be amazing and I am very very excited."
Earlier, Chhathi Maiyya was played by Devoleena Bhattacharya. Replacing someone in the show always comes with its own challenges. While sharing about it, Sneha said, "First of all it’s not a replacement, I’m just taking over the show as we know Devoleena has fore coming blessings in her life. When I was called , the first thing I did was personally messaged Devoleena and asked her if I can do it, I took her permission and then went along with the meetings, look test and everything else.
Elaborating on her role in the show, she added, "I am a director's actor, so I will go along with the director's instructions and its a very soothing character so I have to be internally very calm and composed."
Taking it ahead, she said, “My First Scene in the show is about Vrindavan, believing Krishna’s love and blessings will continue to stay with me.”
