MUMBAI : No one can forget Indian Television’s one of the most hilarious serials, Khichdi which starred Anang Desai, Rajeev Mehta, Supriya Pathak, Vandana Pathak, and Jamnadas Majethia. In 2010, the makers of the show came up with a film titled Khichdi – The Movie which was a successful venture and left the audiences in splits.
After 13 years, the makers gave us a Diwali dhamaka last year with Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan in theatres.
Watching the movie in theatres was a fun experience for everyone and so this time, after a year, once again, the whole cast is back for a Diwali dhamaka. That’s right! The movie is all set for its world TV premiere on Zee Cinema on 3rd November.

In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, Supriya Pathak opened up about the success of Khichdi 2 and much more.
When asked about the response for Khichdi 2 in theatres and on OTT, Surpiya Pathak said, “Khichdi ko hamesha bohot pyaar milta hai, bohot pyaar se log dekhte hai Khichdi. You know wherever you are seeing, everybody’s in love with Hansa, Praful and all the characters are so loveable. And they all are living in their hearts toh we always get a very warm welcome and very happy response from the audience...”
We have seen Shahid Kapoor and Pankaj Kapoor together in movies like Jersey, and Shaandaar. When asked when we can expect to see Surpiya Pathak and Shahid Kapoor together, she said, “I have no idea. Whenever something nice is offered to us I am sure we would both love to do it.”
