Sonnal A. Kakar came up with the idea and produced it under Rose Audio Visuals Pvt. Ltd. with Goldie Behl. The story of Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile is not like other love stories. The show explores the clash between traditional customs and the modern values of the younger generation, creating a highly charged emotional experience.

The show features Rohit Dhiman, Bharat Ahlawwat, and Ayushi Khurana and Sehaj Rajput in leading roles along with Jayati Bhatia.

In an exclusive interview with Jayati, she shared how she bagged the role.

Jayati shared, "When I first heard about the narration and the term aata saata, I was completely taken aback and was puzzled. Then the creatives explained that it is an exchange with the assurance of the groom’s family that we will keep the new bride just as happily as their daughter will keep her in-laws happy. This is done to keep the girl’s getting married in discipline. This ritual used to be followed from ancient times where the kings used to follow it too.

I lived in Delhi where there were a lot of Rajasthanis. I knew of a lot of 17 to 18 year old girls who were married this kind of arrangement but I did not know that it is called aata saata. "
