MUMBAI : The television business has been rocked by some heartbreaking news. Actor Nitin Chauhan, who was well-known for his roles in Crime Patrol and MTV Splitsvilla, died at the age of 35. He is said to have committed suicide at his Mumbai home.
Sudeep Sahir, his co-star, verified the distressing news and paid his respects on social media. In his stories, he added, "Rest in peace, buddy." An additional Tera Yaar Hoon Vibhuti Thakur, the actor's main co-star, alluded to the actor's sudden change in behavior as he battled personal problems.
Sharing his picture on social media, Vibhuti Thakur wrote, “Rest in peace my dear… really shocked and sad… wish u had the strength to face all the troubles… wish u were mentally strong like ur body.”
His close friend Kuldeep revealed, “We came to know today morning when his father and sister called us revealing that Nitin had passed away and they mentioned that the cause of death was suicide. We are equally shocked as he was going to come next month to Delhi and we had plans of going to Khatu Shyam ji’s temple together.”
In 2009, Nitin Chauhan became well-known for his part in Dadagiri 2. He appeared in Season 5 of Splitsvilla. Among his other well-known series are Tera Yaar Hoon Main, Crime Patrol, and Zindagi Dot Com.

Nitin is survived by his father and sister. The family has not yet released a formal statement.
