MUMBAI : Karan Arjun marks 30 years and on this occasion, Rakesh Roshan is all set to re-release the first movie that Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan together. Karan Arjun was a movie that really made a place in people’s heart and mind and with the announcement of Karan Arjun, the makers have once again prepared to cast their spell on audience.

Along with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, the movie also features the power-packed ensemble of Rakhee, Kajol, Mamta Kulkarni and Amrish Puri.

Karan Arjun has re-released today (22nd November, 2024). The movie has simultaneously re-released globally today. This movie has become the largest re-release in India with an International re-release too.

In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Rakesh Roshan revealed some interesting facts about the movie and Hrithik Roshan’s debut.

When asked why Hrithik Roshan wasn’t launched with Karan Arjun, Rakesh Roshan revealed, “Nahi who maine humesha soch ke rakha tha, because I lost myself when I was 21. I was immature at that time. Mere se galti ho gayi thi and there was nobody to guide me. So maine humesha socha tha ke jab Hrithik 24-25 ka hoga tab usko launch karunga, taki maturity aa jaye, loverboy jaisa na rah jaye toh iss liye maine jaanbuzke Kaho Naa Pyar Hai ke baad maine koi mill gaya banayi. As a hero woh accept ho gaya tha. I wanted to show how talented he is, how vulnerable he is.”

Karan Arjun performed so well at the box office that it became one of the highest-grossing films of 1995. This is because the audience loved the movie for its thrilling action sequences, emotional depth, and the unforgettable chemistry between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

Talking about the plot, it is based on reincarnation and revenge, and the story of two brothers, Karan and Arjun, woh are separated due to a family feud. Fate reunites them in their next lives as they seek justice and redemption.
