MUMBAI : CID was indeed a legendary Indian television show, holding a special place in the history of Indian entertainment.
It aired on Sony TV from January 21, 1998, to October 27, 2018, making it one of the longest-running scripted TV shows in India, with an impressive 20-year run.
The show followed the investigative journeys of a team of detectives from the Crime Investigation Department, led by the iconic ACP Pradyuman, played by Shivaji Satam.

The channel has finally revealed the launch date of the show which is 21st December 2024 and it will air Saturday and Sunday at 10: 00 pm.
