MUMBAI: Salman Khan is a heartthrob of the nation and doesn't need any introduction.

The actor who stepped into the Bollywood industry years ago, never thought that one day he would become such a big star.

Salman's films and his aura are intact even today and everyone just loves him.

The handsome hunk is the most eligible bachelor in the country and his family, friends and fans are eagerly waiting to walk down the aisle.

While no one knows when that is going to happen, we definitely have something interesting to share about the actor today on the special occasion of his birthday.

We all know that Salman Khan is not just an actor but also owns a production house.

He has also launched several new talents and given them wings to fly.

But here's a beautiful story on how Salman decided to produce his first ever movie for Being Human Production.

Everyone knows that Salman Khan's first production was Chillar Party, but nobody knows how he came on board. Nitesh Tiwari and co-director Vikas Bahl had already completed the film, but they were stuck with no financers to release it. These were pre-OTT days, so they couldn't even go straight to digital. After having knocked on almost every door, and being rejected with the excuse that nobody would like the film, they had lost all hope.

On a chance encounter, they met Sohail Khan, broached the subject of their movie just in passing conversation, and it was he who suggested they screen it for Salman as he loves both kids and dogs. They did, but with little hope, knowing full well that their film was a far cry from the superstar's brand of cinema, unlikely to be his first ever production.

After watching the movie, Salman came out breaking, and simply said that this is exactly the film he was looking to back as Being Human's first production.

Well, this is definitely a heartwarming story!

Here's wishing Salman Khan a very happy birthday!
