On India’s Best Dancer Vs Super Dancer: Champions Ka Tashan, Geeta Ma says, “I think my team didn’t understand the assignment, disappointing.”

MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television's homegrown format "India's Best Dancer vs Super Dancer: Champions Ka Tashan" is a high-stakes dance competition hosted by Haarsh Limbachiyaa. The show pits two talented teams against each other, with Malaika Arora leading Team IBD and Geeta Kapur leading Team SD. Under the expert guidance of renowned choreographer Remo D'Souza, 12 exceptional dancers battle it out to emerge as the ultimate champion! This weekend, the show welcomes star dancers and acclaimed choreographers, Dharmesh Yelande and Puneet J. Pathak, rooting for Team India’s Best Dancer and Team Super Dancer respectively.

Team Super Dancer nominates talented duo Pari and Arshiya to perform on ‘Hawa Hawayi’ using a Yoga Mat as their prop. Their performance earns a standing ovation from Malaika and Geeta with IBD owner Malaika paying her a compliment saying, “Pari, you are incredible, you are an unbelievable actress, whatever you do is so funny, so real, so endearing. It is a delight to watch.”

Remo asks Haarsh if she looks like ‘Choti Bharti’ and Haarsh replies, “ekdum same, she gives such expressions in such a short time.” Remo loves Pari’s performance and further adds, “I am very sorry Arshiya, but this act was totally Pari's. From the beginning, Pari turned it into her act; Pari, you’re a star.”

Geeta Ma knew that the other team had set a benchmark on how to use props and said, “I have been doing this work for 20 years, and before this, there was no benchmark to refer to, where we could say that the props should be used this way. Today, that act happened.” She also felt that her team didn’t understand the assignment and said, “I want my team to refer to that act; I think my team didn’t understand the assignment, disappointing.” She asked the captains to think out of the box, adding, “I felt you all depended a lot on dancing and less on the prop – the assignment is about using that one prop and making it innovative or creative.”
