MUMBAI: Parth Samthaan, who stepped into the shoes of ACP Ayushmaan a few months ago replacing the iconic ACP Pradyuman has now wrapped up his journey on the long-running crime series CID.
His entry sparked mixed reactions, with a section of the audience expressing strong sentiments and calling for the return of Shivaji Satam, the original face of justice on the show.
In a highly anticipated episode aired yesterday, fans were elated as Shivaji Satam made a powerful comeback as ACP Pradyuman, reclaiming his place at the helm of the CID team. With this narrative shift, Parth’s character gracefully bowed out, marking the end of his stint on the show.
Despite the initial backlash, Parth managed to win hearts with his fresh portrayal of the new-age cop and was appreciated for bringing his own flavor to the role.
In several interviews, the actor shared that he had a wonderful experience working on the show and built a great rapport with the entire cast and crew.
To honor his contribution, the team of CID organized a warm and heartfelt farewell celebration on his last day of shoot. The atmosphere was filled with camaraderie and appreciation as Parth cut a special farewell cake and received heartfelt hugs from his co-stars.
