MUMBAI: Nikita Roy, the gripping supernatural thriller directed by Kussh Sinha, has made a solid mark at the box office by crossing ₹1 crore+ worldwide on Day 1, despite a limited screen release. With a compelling storyline and strong performances, the film is gaining rapid momentum driven by positive word of mouth and audience curiosity.
With overwhelming audience response, new shows are now being added across key territories, and the film is expected to grow even further over the weekend.
Led by Sonakshi Sinha, Nikita Roy also stars Paresh Rawal, Arjun Rampal, and Suhail Nayyar, and is being widely praised for its suspenseful narrative and atmospheric storytelling.
Produced under the banner of Nicky Vicky Bhagnani Films and Nikita Pai Films Ltd., the film has been released by Baweja Studios in association with Bliss Entertainment, Movies PTE Limited, and Karmic Films. The screenplay is penned by acclaimed thriller writer Pavan Kirpalani, known for his expertise in the genre.
The production is helmed by Nickky Khemchand Bhagnani, Viicky Bhagnani, Ankur Takrani, Dinesh Ratiram Gupta, Kinjal Ashok Ghone, and Kratos Entertainment, with co-producers Anand Mehta, Prakash Nand Bijlani, Shakti Bhatnagar, Mehnaaz Shaikh, Chintan Dave, and Prem Raj Joshi lending strong creative and financial support.
