MUMBAI: Colors TV’s Mangal Lakshmi continues to win the hearts of viewers. The current track revolves around Monisha and Adit’s relentless attempts to stop Mangal and Lakshmi’s wedding, even as Mangal and Kapil prepare to tie the knot.
In the recent episodes, the festival of Rakshabandhan was celebrated, where all the female workers from Pehla Swaad tied rakhis to Kapil. Mangal also asked Monisha to tie one on Kapil’s wrist, leaving Monisha visibly awkward. To escape the situation, she pretended to faint.
Monisha then hatched a bigger conspiracy, making Kusum, Adit, and others believe that she is the daughter of someone close to Kusum’s husband and thus related to their family. Falling for her ploy, Kusum invited Monisha to stay at their house — much to Monisha’s relief as her plan succeeded. Meanwhile, Adit rejoiced as this gave him more time to expose Kapil.
Elsewhere, Monisha deliberately injured herself in an attempt to get closer to Kapil. Mangal happened to see them together and was reminded of the painful betrayal she faced from Adit and Saumya. Emotional memories of their years of deceit resurfaced. When Kapil tried to clarify, Mangal opened up about her feelings and apologized for reacting emotionally. Kapil, in turn, felt guilty for hiding the truth about Monisha from her.
In the upcoming episodes, Adit will make an attempt to expose Kapil during his surprise birthday party.
