MUMBAI: Former actress and acclaimed television personality Shrutika Arjun, known for her work in Tamil and Malayalam cinema, has opened up about the emotional challenges she faced during and after her stint on Bigg Boss Season 18, including losing touch with fellow contestants Karanveer Mehra, Chum Darang, and Shilpa Shirodkar.
Speaking exclusively to Zoom, Shrutika revealed the profound impact of being away from her family for nearly 100 days.
“It was traumatic. I had never been separated from my family before,” she admitted, describing how the prolonged isolation inside the Bigg Boss house took several months to fully recover from once she returned to normal life.
When questioned about her current relationship with Karanveer Mehra, Chum Darang, and Shilpa Shirodkar, Shrutika candidly hinted that her bonds with them have weakened. “No friendship exists without ups and downs.
You often face misunderstandings and disagreements with your friends,” she explained. She added that she remains in close contact with Tajinder Singh Bagga and Chahat Pandey, highlighting that some connections have endured while others have drifted apart.
During the show, Shrutika shared a strong camaraderie with Karanveer, Shilpa, and Chum, forming memorable bonds in front of the cameras. However, post-show dynamics appear to have shifted, leaving fans curious about the reasons behind the distance that has developed.
As audiences await further insights, Shrutika’s revelations offer a rare glimpse into the emotional highs and lows experienced by contestants behind the glitz and drama of reality television.
