MUMBAI: Colors TV show Mangal Lakshmi: Lakshmi Ka Safar has kept fans glued to the TV screens. The current track of the show revolves around Kartik and Lakshmi losing their baby. Kartik is distraught with the news.
In the previous episodes, amidst Janmashthmi celebrations, Lakshmi injured herself considerably and got hospitalized.
Doctor gave Lakshmi's health update to Kartik and Gayatri, leaving them stunned. The doctor informs them that Lakshmi could have been paralyzed. She also informs them that she has injured her uterus and thus can not conceive a baby anymore. This leaves Kartik emotional.

Furthermore, he hides this heartbreaking news from Lakshmi. When the duo reaches home, their Bua decorates their room with toys and teddy bears as they are would-be-parents. Kartik feels a sharp pang of pain but endures it, knowing he has kept the truth hidden from Lakshmi. However, in the upcoming episodes, Kartik will have to reveal the truth to Lakshmi. The duo tries to remain strong in the tiring times.
