MUMBAI: Mohit Duseja, who was last seen in Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum, is ringing in his birthday today, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The grand festivities begin on August 27 and will continue until September 6.

Speaking about his special day, Mohit exclusively told TellyChakkar, "I’m really enjoying the fact that this year my birthday falls just a day before the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations kick off. The atmosphere is filled with positivity and divine energy. With Bappa’s arrival, I’m hoping the year ahead is smooth, free of obstacles, and blessed with success, prosperity, peace, and sunshine."

The actor, who has now shifted base to Mumbai, revealed how he plans to juggle it all on his big day: "This birthday feels like a masterclass in multitasking! I’ll be waking up early (a miracle in itself), heading to the temple for blessings, and then calling my parents to thank them for putting up with me all these years. After that, I’ll spend time with my furry friends at the dog house—they’re my true therapy. Later, I’ll celebrate with my Mumbai family, and finally, take some me-time to reflect on life. It’s going to be an extravaganza, and I’m curious to see how much I can pack into one day!"

While enjoying the celebrations in Mumbai, Mohit admitted that he deeply misses his loved ones back in Delhi.

"I really miss my family on my birthday. It’s been two years since we last celebrated together, and that’s a real bummer. Honestly, nothing compares to the way parents make your birthday feel so special. I hold onto those childhood memories of mom and dad making all my wishes come true. Celebrating away from them makes me realize how quickly I’ve grown up—it’s like, hello adulthood! But no matter the distance, I know their blessings are always with me... and so is their strictness about staying out too late," he laughed.

Mohit Duseja has been part of notable shows such as Yeh Ishq Nahi Hai Aasan, Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, and Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei.
