Rise and Fall: Dhanashree Verma says ex-husband Yuzi Chahal used negative PR against her out of fear
MUMBAI: Amazon MX Player’s much-talked-about show Rise and Fall has been making headlines, with fans buzzing about the lineup of popular and controversial celebrities including Arjun Bijlani, Kiku Sharda, Arbaz Patel, Dhanashree Verma, and Aditya Narayan, among others.
Dhanashree Verma, who has often opened up about her divorce from Indian cricketer Yuzi Chahal, once again shared her perspective on the matter. She explained that she chose not to publicly level accusations against Chahal out of respect for the relationship they once shared.
In a now-viral clip from the show, Dhanashree is seen conversing with Arbaz Patel. When Patel mentioned knowing Chahal’s current girlfriend, Dhanashree replied that she preferred not to discuss him. Patel then revealed that Chahal had accused her of cheating. To this, Dhanashree firmly dismissed the claims, adding that Chahal acted out of fear and resorted to such allegations.

Dhanashree said, "Woh toh pehlaege na, sab negative PR. Isko neeche karo. Ek darr rehta hai na, ke mai na muh khol du, toh pehle kaise dabaye. Mai bataugi na ek ek point, Arbaz, yeh show aapko peanuts lagega. "
(That was all negative PR from the start. They wanted to pull me down. There’s always this fear that if I open my mouth, everything will come out, so they try to suppress it in advance. If I reveal each and every point, Arbaz, this show will feel like peanuts to you.).
