MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 19 is gearing up for some interesting episodes ahead. In the previous week, Neelam Giri and Abhishek Bajaj were evicted from the show, leaving many contestants in tears. Their eviction brought significant changes inside the Bigg Boss house, and the show took an interesting turn with Mridul Tiwari's mid-week elimination.
The elimination process was quite different this time. The contestants had to perform in front of a live audience, and the contestant with the least votes would get eliminated from the show, while the two contestants receiving the maximum votes would become captaincy contenders. Mridul received the least votes and was eliminated from the show.
A fan who appeared inside the Bigg Boss 19 house as part of the live voting audience took to social media to share her experience. She stated that the fans were not informed about the elimination — they were only told about voting for the captaincy contenders.

The fan shared that Gaurav Khanna had been trying to become captain for a long time, so most fans voted for him. Had they known about the elimination, they would have voted in Mridul’s favor.
The fan also clarified that while some people claim that everyone who entered the show was a paid audience member, that isn’t true. She mentioned that they were not paid for their appearance on the show.
