MUMBAI: Tejasswi Prakash has finally addressed the long-standing buzz around her marriage plans with boyfriend Karan Kundrra, revealing that Karan wanted to marry her immediately after their Bigg Boss 15 journey ended.
The couple, who fell in love during the reality show and have now been together for nearly four years, continue to be one of television’s most loved jodis.
Despite frequent rumours about an upcoming wedding, both Tejasswi and Karan have consistently dismissed speculation until Tejasswi recently opened up about the real reason behind the delay.
During a candid conversation with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa on their YouTube channel Bharti TV, Tejasswi looked back at the early days of her relationship with Karan.
She recalled how the bond formed inside the Bigg Boss house felt intense, but stepping into the real world brought a different level of understanding.
When asked what she loved most about Karan, Tejasswi said she was deeply moved by how boldly he expressed his feelings for her during Weekend Ka Vaar episodes, even when he wasn’t fully sure if she felt the same way.
She said, “What I liked most about him was how openly he admitted his feelings. Even when there was confusion, he stood by what he felt.”

Tejasswi revealed that her mother surprisingly took a liking to Karan early on, something she didn’t expect because her mother is usually cautious about her relationships. But despite approving of Karan, her mother strongly advised them not to rush into marriage.
Tejasswi recalled the moment clearly and shared, “Karan said, ‘Let’s get married,’ as soon as we came out. But my mother said, ‘You have just come out of Bigg Boss.
You both need to spend a year together in the real world. I don’t doubt Karan, but I don’t even know my daughter fully. You both need time.’”
She laughed while describing herself as someone who loves intensely and impulsively.
“I am very restless. If I fall in love, I immediately feel ‘this is the one.’ That’s why my mother asked me to slow down,” she said.
Tejasswi added that Karan’s parents also adore her and have always been supportive of the relationship.
When Bharti and Haarsh teased her about wedding rumours suggesting a 2026 marriage, Tejasswi smiled and replied, “People are saying that. We are talking about it, but let’s see.”
Her answer suggested that marriage is on the cards, but the couple is choosing to take things at a steady pace rather than succumbing to public pressure.
Apart from their personal life, fans will soon get to see Tejasswi and Karan sharing the screen again.
The duo is part of Laughter Chefs Season 3, hosted by Bharti Singh and Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi.
The show will also feature popular names such as Eisha Singh, Isha Malviya, Vivian Dsena, Aly Goni, Abhishek Kumar, Jannat Zubair, Elvish Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, and Kashmera Shah.
The new season is set to premiere on 22 November and will mark Tejasswi and Karan’s first appearance together on screen after a long time, making fans even more excited.
