MUMBAI: After months of speculation, Sonam Kapoor finally confirmed her pregnancy on Thursday with a signature, stylish announcement on Instagram. Dressed in a striking hot-pink ensemble inspired by Princess Diana, the actor posed for a series of elegant photos proudly showcasing her baby bump, captioned simply, “Mother.”
Sonam, who shares a three-year-old son, Vayu, with husband Anand Ahuja, has been shuttling between India and the UK since their wedding. True to her reputation as a fashion trailblazer, she opted for an ’80s-style power suit with bold padded shoulders, curated by her sister and stylist Rhea Kapoor.

Rumours about her second pregnancy had been circulating since September after her appearances at various events. She is
reportedly set to welcome her second child early next year.

Sonam and Anand tied the knot on May 8, 2018, in a grand ceremony attended by the who’s who of the entertainment industry. The daughter of Bollywood superstar Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, Sonam has showcased her acting prowess in films like Neerja and Saawariya, among others.
