MUMBAI: The latest episode of India’s Got Talent on Sony Entertainment Television took a fun-filled turn when the judges and guests were invited on stage for a lighthearted yet surprisingly tricky Towel Challenge. What began as a simple moment of masti quickly escalated into a laugh riot as pairs attempted to untangle two knotted towels without ever letting go of them.
Before the challenge kicked off, host Harsh Limbachiyaa added his trademark humour to the moment. Marching onto the stage with a towel in hand, he joked, “Yeh wohi towel hai jo Shaan sir ke gaane ‘Jab Se Tere Naina’ mein Ranbir Kapoor ne pehna tha aur maze ki baat yeh hai ki Shaan sir wohi dance kar rahe the, aur maine towel kheech diya” His playful jab set the tone for a segment packed with comedy, competition, and camaraderie.
Harsh divided everyone into three groups—Ravi Dubey–Sargun Mehta, Malaika Arora–Sidhu, and Harsh–Shaan, each pair handed two intertwined towels they had to untangle while holding on firmly throughout the task.
As the challenge began, chaos and laughter erupted on stage. While some pairs struggled to figure out the trick, Malaika and Sidhu displayed surprising teamwork and agility, managing to untangle their towels first. Their victory sparked cheers, and the duo even broke into an impromptu celebratory dance.
Not far behind, Ravi and Sargun soon managed to complete their task as well—after which Sargun jokingly declared, “Hum toh soch rahe the jiska towel sabse zyada locked rahega, woh jeetega” Their playful banter continued as the couples grooved to the iconic track ‘Jeene Ke Hai Chaar Din.’
In a sweet closing moment, Malaika took it upon herself to show Harsh the simple trick behind untying the towels, leaving the host and everyone around in splits.
