Shreya Ghoshal’s 'Ek Chutki Sindoor' act in Indian Idol Junior will have everyone in splits

The talented singer Shreya Ghoshal seems to be having a ball, as judge of the prestigious music reality series Indian Idol Junior (Fremantle Productions) on Sony Entertainment Television. Much known for her singing prowess, Shreya will now turn a new leaf as she will display her acting skills and win applause from contestants and audience. For the upcoming gala episode showcasing the Top 10 contestants singing songs of different ‘Ras’, Sonakshi Kar sang “Na koi Umang hain”. She also enacted the famous dialogue ‘Ek chutki sindoor ki keemat tum kya jaano Ramesh babu’ from the film Om Shanti Om to express the Udasi Ras. After much probing from hosts Karan and Mandira (Bedi), Shreya enacted the dialogue said by Sonakshi, with Shekhar (Ravjiani) setting the mood on piano. Everyone including the judges was in splits after Shreya’s hilarious acting display. The sequence will air tonight (20 July 2013).
