When God granted my wish of acting in Swarg in just 15 minutes

A page from the personal diary of Archana Taide A year ago on August 21 I had just finished shooting for a cameo in Kasturi on Star Plus, and had taken a short break. Meanwhile, I was auditioning for a look-test for Balaji’s Koi Aane Ko Hai, for which I had a meeting at six in the evening. Just then I got a call from my friend Mona who was a creative head for Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg asking me if I can make it to meet Rajan Shahi (who I was looking forward to working with anyways) for Swarg. I was so stunned as just a few minutes before that I was watching the show and thinking about getting a chance to work in it. I wanted to go but realized I had made a commitment to go to Balaji and so I thought of giving up the meeting with Rajanji. But fortunately for me, I got a call from Balaji saying the meeting has been postponed and I was so happy that I immediately called up Mona saying I was going to meet Rajanji. Everything was falling into place and it was all a beautiful co-incidence that my wishes were getting fulfilled in just 15 minutes, and then when I finally met Rajanji, he signed me on the spot for the role I had hoped I would bag. That was just unbelievable. And I was paired opposite Pracheen Chauhan who I was secretly wishing to work with some day! God was kind that day. Unforgettable…lucky me!
