After Virrudh there were offers but nothing excited to me,” says Sushant. “Looking at the current scenario that is going on television I don’t think I’ll take up anything. Beside, I’ve my films to concentrate on,” he states.

So, planning to quit the tube? “Well I’ll only take up work on television if something extraordinary comes my way, something which has not been seen on Hindi entertainment channels before. I think now television is not my cup of tea,” he states. Talking about the juggling act Sushant explains, “While I was doing Virrudh, the schedule was too hectic as it was a daily. I had to juggle between my films and television show due to which I could give little time to myself and my family,” he states. He will soon be seen in Mukhnir and has bagged two out and out comedy films too. “ Mukhnir is almost ready. Talking about my comedy flick, one is with Rajat Kapoor and me in the lead called Halla, which I think should release by the end of July. There is one more film in pre- production stages called Idiot Box, a commercial comedy where I essay a totally different role and that one I’m really looking forward to,” says Sushant. Sushant Singh is not virrudh to television, but for now he only wants to tickle the funny bone on the big screen.
