Shamin never told me that she was quitting Sanskaar: Jay Soni

Sasural Genda Phool fame Jay Soni, who is now impressing viewers as Jai Kishan, the dedicated and cultured son of the Vaishnav family in Colors’ Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki is a devoted and hardworking actor. His on-screen chemistry with co-actor Shamin Mannan aka Bhoomi was going great guns, when the unfortunate happened!!! Shamin as we know, had to quit the show owing to health issues. And with her gone, Jay is back to square one wherein he has to establish a good chemistry on screen with actress Kadambari Kadam who steps into the shoes of Shamin. We at Tellychakkar.com decided to ask Jay Soni about his thoughts on Shamin opting out of Sanskaar. Jay who had a bewildered look on his face started his conversation by saying, “Well, first of all I didn’t know that she was quitting the show. She never told me about her decision; it happened all of a sudden. It seems that she had some health issues and hence could not manage it. I always like to keep my professional and personal life separate. Like Shamin, who is a good actress having some good qualities, Kadambari too has some good qualities. So for an actor, it should not really matter,” Jay observes. So does this replacement affect his chemistry? “No, not at all! If one is a good actor, it should really not bother him/her. If you ask me to romance with a tree, I can depict the scene with the same kind of intensity. Hence replacement really doesn’t matter,” the actor maintains. That’s the spirit, Jay!!!
