After making a show like Splitsvilla, Colosceum will now go traditional. The production house is all set to launch a bhakti based reality show which as of now is titled Om Shanti Om. The show will be based on religious songs and it will be reportedly shot at all holy places. The judges and hosts are yet to be finalised.
Informs a source, “The show had gone through a title change for as many as three times. Earlier it was titled Star Jay Jaykar and now the channel has frozen on Om Shanti Om. The hosts of the show are not yet finalised. Currently they are contemplating on three jodis – out of which two are Additi Shriwaiker – Mohit Malik and Suhasi Goradia – Romit Raj.”
“The show was to launch sometime in August but now it has been pushed ahead by a couple of months. The show will apparently start after the monsoon ends as the shoot has to take place in temples and the sets would be erected at holy places like Haridwar, Banaras and so on. To judge the show singers like Anup Jalota and Anuradha Paudwal have been approached but everything depends on the availability of their dates”, concludes our source.
When contacted, both Mohit and Additi said, “We haven’t been approached as yet.”
Suhasi Goradia said, “Nothing is confirmed as yet as talks are still on.”
