Bengali movie ‘Boss’ premiered in Mumbai

Choreographer turned director; Baba Yadav’s directorial debut movie Boss was screened in Mumbai last weekend. Boss , a remake of super hit Telugu movie Businessman has received a rousing reception in Bengal post its Eid release. The premiere at Mumbai saw some bigwigs from Bengal film industry including its lead actor Jeet in attendance. The movie sees Jeet in the role of a mafia don who tries to legalize the mafia in Mumbai. The 2-hour long movie sees Jeet performing some high-octane stunts while taking on the corrupt police and politicos. The film also transports you to some mind-numbing locales in Turkey where Jeet is seen romancing the sizzling Subhasree Ganguly in some amazingly choreographed dance numbers. Post the screening, a celebratory cake with Boss inscribed on it was cut by Jeet and Baba. Speaking exclusively to Tellychakkar.com, Jeet said his upbringing in Kolkata where he has seen criminal prowl helped him prepare for his role in Boss. He also said it was a delight to have acted under Baba Yadav’s direction although matching his dance moves in the songs was the difficult part. Well, we are sure no one but only Baba can match his moves on-screen.
