Sachin Parikh's double dhamaal - bags roles in Iss Pyaar Ko Season 2 and Haunted Nights - Kaun Hai Woh?

Talented actor Sachin Parikh is back with a bang. He will now be seen in two diverse roles, in Sahara One’s new series Haunted Nights – Kaun Hai Woh? and Star Plus’ biggie show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir. Co incidentally both the shows launch tonight. While the Sahara One show produced by The Entertainment Hub premieres at the 10 PM slot, the much-expected second season of Iss Pyaar, this time produced by Sphere Origins will be aired at the 6 PM slot on Star Plus. In Haunted Nights, Sachin Parikh plays the role of Damodar, the youngest uncle (chacha) of the male lead, essayed by Vishal Gandhi. The guy is grey-shaded and will indulge in black magic and negative powers. We also hear that Monica Clair will essay the wife of Damodar, a girl who is extremely beautiful and is self-obsessed. However, she does not have a sniff of the black magic and negative forces that are being played with in her house. She is curious to know what her husband and family members keep working on. In Iss Pyaar Ko Season 2 though, Sachin’s entry is expected to happen a bit later. He will be introduced as part of the Agnihotri family (which is of the male lead Shlok Agnihotri, essayed by Avinash Sachdev). We hear that his entry will have an intrigue element attached to it. When contacted, Sachin told us, “Yes, I am glad to have bagged two major roles in two promising shows. Haunted Nights is a different concept which deals with the evil powers being dominated over the goodness. I have an interesting role to play in it. Earlier, I had been part of 16 episodes series of Star One’s Horror Nights and I am looking forward to this challenge.” On his Star Plus project, Sachin did not want to comment any further and said, “I am part of Iss Pyaar. But I will talk about my role at the right time.” Sachin Parikh was seen in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 1 on Colors and also on Kuch Toh Log Kahenge on Sony Entertainment Television.
