Kishore Kumar biopic finally set to roll

Since they started their production house Picture Shuru Productions, Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor have frequently been in the news. Firstly, they launched their maiden film Jagga Jasoos for which they signed Katrina Kaif to play the female lead. Now, it is heard that the Jab Tak Hai Jaan actress would, in all probability, be also part of Basu’s biopic on Kishore Kumar that would have Ranbir playing the pivotal role. Earlier rumours had it that there was a problem between the team and Kishore Kumar’s family, but the director has cleared that he couldn’t go ahead with the project as he was awaiting dates of Ranbir. Now that the Rockstar actor has finally given his dates, the biopic is expected to roll soon. It is said that the film will have four heroines, pitted against Ranbir, who will essay the late crooner’s four wives Ruma Guha Thakurata, Madhubala, Yogeeta Bali and Leena Chandavarkar. It is besides the point that nothing has been decided yet as to who all will play the four female leads in the biopic.
