Ayushmann Khurrana to play scientist Shivkar Talpade in biopic

Just yesterday we had reported about Ayushmann Khurrana ganging up with producer John Abraham and director Shoojit Sircar for a new project. Today we report that the Vicky Donor actor is gearing up for a biopic based on the life of the eminent Maharashtrian scientist Shivkar Talpade, who made and flew India's first unmanned airplane in 1895. The film titled Bombay Fairytale, to be produced by Guneet Monga, will mark the directorial debut of Vibhu Puri. Earlier Vibhu used to be the assistant of Sanjay Leela Bhansali who had also written the Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor-starrer Saawariya . The film is expected to go on floors later this month.
