Abhishek Kapoor to team with Farhan Akhtar again for Rock On sequel

With his very first film Rock On made in 2008,Farhan Akhtar proved that he was a great actor besides being good at direction. Incidentally, Rock On, directed by Abhishek Kapoor, went on to become a rage with the youth all over the country. The latest is that Farhan and Abhishek are all set to team up again for a sequel of this grandiose musical. While it has been leant that Abhishek has already finalized the script of the film, it has also been decided that the sequel would be co-produced by Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment. What is even more interesting is that in this film too, the Bhaag Milkha Bhaag actor would once again be seen on a microphone. Here it may be interesting to note that Abhishek and Farhan had supposedly drifted apart when the latter decided to keep away from Kai Po Che. It is said that Abhishek wanted to cast Farhan in the role of Ishaan. However, since things couldn't work with the Don helmer, the director signed Sushant Singh Rajput for the said role.
