Nia Sharma is chilling out with family in Delhi, eating '15 times' a day

Nia Sharma
Nia Sharma, who played the spirited and chirpy Maanvi in Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain, is presently enjoying family time in Delhi. Says Nia, “I am pretty relaxed and do nothing except for sleeping and eating (smiles). After all, it has been a while since I got home-made food.” Nia does not shy away from telling us that she eats quite a lot these days. “Frankly speaking I eat 15 times in a day. As soon as I get up and brush my teeth, I start to eat. I have to munch something or the other after an hour or so. Then I sleep, only to get up and eat again. It has been funny, but I am enjoying this phase of my life,” states the actress. Remind her that she will have to hit the gym quite regularly to get back in shape, and Nia dismisses the idea. “I hate to go to the gym, and I have never been to one in my life. In fact, I am here only for another 10 days or so, as I get back to Mumbai on 21 September. Once I go back, I know my regular routine will start and I will keep myself busy. So it is fine if I go off my schedule and eat too much now (smiles). I am sure I will get regain fitness once I start doing my regular stuff in Mumbai.” Ask her about how much she misses the Ek Hazaaron… gang and she lets her emotions talk as she says, “Well, don’t even ask me this question. It is a feeling as though everything was the same till the night happened, and when I got up the next morning, my life had completely changed. There was no call time, no one calling me Maanvi, and above all, I did not have to go to my sets to be with my big family. It was a very bad feeling and made me very remorseful. It took me time to get back to my senses. I now believe that with every ending, there will certainly be new beginnings. So I am waiting for that to happen in my life.” On her next role post playing Maanvi, Nia explains, “Maanvi was too cute a character. After playing her, I cannot take every role that comes to me. In fact, I have been flooded with offers but I have shown my reluctance to all of them till now. The first reason is that though our shoot wrapped up early, my show was still on air. So I did not want to take any immediate decision. Also, I needed time to get out of my character of Maanvi. I will now take up a character which is as meaty and challenging as Maanvi.” Nia, we wish you all the best!!!
