It seems that Bollywood inspires television. Following in the foot steps of many an actor is Rajev Paul wrote the script for his own act in Star One’s Hans Baliye. Though the couple was eliminated after their wild card entry Rajev’s attempt at script writing was well received.
Pretty excited on turning script writer Rajev disclosed, “Yes, I not only wrote my own script but also rehearsed that with Delnaaz for the wild card episode of Hans Baliye. We prepared the act in just one hour. Actually I wanted to experiment with something new for our wild card entry. When I asked the channel for permission to write my own script they were unsure at first but somehow I convinced them. Now that was a challenge for me as I erred in that episode, my act would either be edited or reshot. But the result was better than expected. Everyone especially David Dhawan appreciated me a lot after the act. It was David ji who inspired me to write not only a meaningful comedy script but also a script which was emotional.
“According to me it’s very important to have the right script for shows like Hans Baliye because it’s very difficult to make people laugh. And also we are shooting four episodes in two days which is very challenging in terms of writing scripts,” he elaborated.
The industry is in desperate need of good writers and we hope Rajev can fill this void.
