Actor Deepak Jethi to play Bhindranwale in ABP News' Pradhanmantri

Pradhanmantri, the popular politics-based reality cum documentary series on ABP News will now see the introduction of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, the leader of the Sikh religious group whose revolutionary ideas and support towards the Anandpur Sahib Resolution gained prominence. He also strongly condemned the Indian Constitution which declared minorities such as Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists as part of Hinduism. Playing the very important and delicate character of Bhindranwale is actor Deepak Jethi, who has acted in many Bollywood movies and serials like Mahabharat Katha, Vishnupuran, Maa Shakti, Devon Ke Dev.. Mahadev and Ek Thhi Naayka. Sohan and Nisha Thakur, Casting Directors of Starways have roped the talented actor for the above-said role. When contacted, Sohan Thakur (seen in the picture along with Deepak) told us, “Yes, there was the need to choose a very talented actor for the role of Bhindranwale, as it is quite challenging. And I was on the lookout for a Punjabi to play this role. Dialect usually plays an important role in casting, and I had earlier approached actor Puneet Issar to play Bhindranwale. Unfortunately, he could not accept to play the role owing to date issues, though he was interested in the project. We then zeroed in on Deepak Jethi for the role. And I hear that he has done an amazing job.” Deepak Jethi also told us, “Well, I am advised by my director not to give out much details. All I can tell you is that I am playing the very important, yet sensitive character of Bhindranwale. I have put in my hard work into it, and it is now for the viewers to see it.
