Rookie actor Anjali Priya roped in for a challenging role in Sony TV’s Maharana Pratap

Contiloe Telefilms’ Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap on Sony Entertainment Television will open up a new track which will throw light on the manner in which Pratap (Faisal Khan) will fight against the injustice meted out to the common man by the Bundi Naresh, Rao Surtan. We had recently reported about Anand Goradia and Smita Dongre essaying the characters of Rao Surtan and Panna Tai, respectively. We now hear that there will be yet another new entry in this upcoming track, that of the young and determined girl Krishna who happens to be the daughter of the real King of Bundi. Well, the story will be that Rao Surtan has in fact captured the real King of Bundi, taken his eyes off and put him in the prison. With the real King in custody, Surtan will be the dictator. However, the daughter of the real king Krishna will be living the life of a simple girl with Panna Tai being her caretaker. New talent Anjali Priya has bagged the role of Krishna. We hear that the makers had an extensive hunt for this particular character, as it required a girl with valour and courage to play it. Anjali who has been part of few episodics earlier has bagged this challenging role. In the track ahead, Krishna will be determined to win back her place Bundi from the terror Rao Surtan. She will hatch a plan to fight against him. And after knowing about Pratap’s valour, she will befriend him and seek his help. The story ahead will also focus on the brother-sister bonding between Pratap and Krishna.
