Hansal Mehta replaces Ajay Bahl to helm City Lights

Hansal Mehta has stepped into the shoes of director Ajay Bahl for Vishesh Films’ City Lights. Earlier the makers had fixed Bahl for the project after the success of B.A. Pass, but owing to creative differences with Mukesh Bhatt, the partnership did not work out. Said Bhatt in a statement, “Hansal Mehta will be directing City Lights. He is a good director and we have liked his work. The film will feature Rajkumar Yadav.” Hansal was recently in news when his film Shahid, starring Rajkumar Yadav opened to a great response.
