Suchitra Krishnamoorthy's scandalous book Drama Queen lays bare Ram Gopal Varma's sexual instincts

Ram Gopal Varma
Former actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthy opened a Pandora’s Box at the launch of her book ‘Drama Queen’ yesterday evening. Staying true to the title of her book, Suchitra sprinkled enough drama when she said she once wanted to marry Ram Gopal Varma and had approached him with the offer. Our jaws dropped on hearing that and before we could gather our wits, director Vikram Bhatt kick started ‘the reading session’ of her book and not surprisingly the chapter chosen was the one on Ramu. This is when the next bombshell hit us. Suchitra, in this particular chapter has described in vivid details her eventful encounter with the maverick director at his office. It seems a besotted Suchitra had once sent Ramu a text – ‘Ramu will you marry me?’ Ramu called Suchitra to his office to discuss matters forward and Ramu’s reply which is quoted in ‘Drama Queen’ and which when Vikram read out yesterday left us stumped. We reproduce Ramu’s reply below. “Suchitra I think you have misunderstood me. Completely. We are not similar at all. Never. I don't believe in the institution of marriage. I am just not the marrying kind. I use women only for sex and I am very sure that's not what you want. I like women's bodies but not their brains. In my opinion, a woman should be seen and not heard." There are also references made about Ramu’s lecherous hug in Suchitra’s book. Needless to say, this was by far the most sensational claim ever made by an actress about a director. We promptly rang up Ramu to get his version of the so-called incident. And here is what Ramu told Tellychakkar.com. “I know about the book launch. Whatever is there in the book you can take it from there. What’s the point in talking to me? I am in a meeting now.” Saying so, Ramu disconnected the call. However, a source close to Ramu tells us that Suchitra had visited Ramu’s office about 20 days back to get his no objection certificate before publishing. “Ramu knows what’s written in it and he is a really bindaas guy. He doesn’t really care,” revealed our source. Well, we feel Ramu and Suchitra should collaborate together to make this book into a movie. That would be fun. At least Suchitra told us she definitely is willing to sell the rights of her book to anyone who wants to buy it. Hope Ramu is listening.
